2007 team in Fontana, CA.
Clemson University's Formula SAE team is a non-profit student-run organization dedicated to fielding a competitive Formula SAE racecar and increasing our business and technical knowledge through practical applications of engineering, while providing an attractive and visible outlet for our sponsors.
The team travels to competitions in Michigan and California each summer to compete against 140 top universities from around the world. These competitions are sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Clemson's consistent top finishes in these events have helped to establish our reputation for driving innovation and education on an international forum through persistent excellence and dedication.
Our team is comprised of a talented group of students dedicated to Clemson?s Formula SAE winning tradition. Each member plays a role in making the team the best it can be. Students perform multiple jobs that capitalize on their individual scholastic, technical, and interpersonal abilities, from driving the car, to designing parts, or handling public relations.
